    • government just want to earn more money...

why they want to earn more money? because they want our currency to be bigger, so that the richer will prosper even higher.

2ndly they want a corruption free government and thus pay the ministers even higher.

    • u will learn all these in practical la..

anyway.. u dont have to do intermitent braking because it is uncomfortable and ure not going at a high speed.

upon approaching the traffic light, gently depress the brake pedal, clutch in and switch from gear 4 to gear 3.. den to gear 2.. and once u come to a complete stop, shift it into neutral, adjust ur leg again to be comfortable and shift in to gear 1, ready for acceleration again.. oh ya, remember to pull handbrake when u fully come to a halt..

    • ask ur brother to remove his thumb from the button below the gear shift..

my mazda6 has the hold button too.. it jerks because i believe ur bro's thumb keep hitting it and the gears are affected..

    • i used to be very close to this girl in sec 3&4 and yes, i did like her but never did express my feelings for her back then because she had a boyfriend. we lost contact after O lvls and now, after 5 years, i managed to bump into her and caught up with old times, nevertheless, my feelings for her start to come back again.

she is now going through a rather complicated part of her life and she does know abt my feelings for her now. she started talking to her ex-bf (which they went tgt for 4yrs) and they are just friends after a year of breakup. they both agree that at this point of time, they are not ready for each other because they are settling into their so-called-new-life.

she still does open up alot to me and tells me all her problems and she mentioned if i felt that if she was leading me on (i do not really get this part about leading me on) and whether i felt awkward about it. like duh, of course i feel a little bit awkward, but i feel that its good to lend a listening ear and be there for her when she needs someone.

she has 2 elder brothers whom she is not closed to and did mention to me that i'm like an elder brother that she never ever had.

is she trying to tell me to stop liking her? i do like her but not exactly chasing her because i feel it is not the right time.

my friends tell me that most girls will tend to be cold towards a guy that likes them and tend not to communicate? somehow, mine's a little different..

should i continue doing what i am doing? or? i dunno.. thanks for reading this long post! confused.png

    • back in my poly days, petrol was $1.60.. my billl hit $732 for 1 particular month.. lol.. i still laminated that bill and paste right on my notice board :p

anyway.. now different liao.. car usage much lesser.. its either abt $480 - $600 a mth now..

1 tank per week! each time fill up can cry..

hope water powered cars will be available economically soon.. even if 1 tank lasts for 150-200km.. it will prob cost $10 per tank or lesser! good bye petrol..

    • this is not really relevant in sg la..

but i do rmb that ive eaten ice cream that is sugar free, meant for diabetics..

was in australia when i ate it..

think not a bad idea to bring into sg and sell..

quite a huge population is actually diabetic..

    • thanks for the explanation!.. however.. it doesnt make sense to me though.. if all the cylinders do not combust the fuel.. it can mean that less power is being output?

i always had the impression that performance wants all the fuel to be burnt for maximum power and also efficiency..

    • i read on the net about backfires..

too lean fuel with too much air

and too rich with too little air

is this the cause? and if it is claimed to be dangerous and unhealthy for engines/exhaust to have backfires.. why do the so called well-tuned-cars still have backfires? cars like ferrari that is stock also have backfire..

can anybody explain? to add on, i also know the difference between afterfire and backfire..

afterfire is just the continuous popping of exhaust sounds after reving.. backfires will have flames coming out..

asking this question because i saw a red f430 speeding in KG JAVA tunnel earlier on with flames coming out of his exhaust shifting up his gear and releasing throttle.

    • dont really think a 4wd car is better on the track even though of its high tractions..

hmmm... till date.. the 1995 McLaren F1 is a RWD car.. still has its crown.. even after technology has vastly advanced over the 13yrs.. new supercars still cant really beat the F1.

u mean in front of grandstand? too crowded and hot, can't take it. would be happy with the "bird's eye view" at the booth, can see what's happening.

shutter speed set to about 1/40 and using f14 for aperture. iso 200.

1/1000 is too fast to capture the tires spinning.

i didnt get burnt la.. haha.. i was in the grandstand all along and zoom in all the way..

btw ah.. those wide pictures, u all set camera pan to 16:9 ?

paiseh ah.. i still learning photography.. hehe..

    • i was there since 8am.. haha.. i left at about 3.30pm.. camera no more battery liao..

i stood by the grandstand.. u shld have come in to the grandstand to take photographs.. i personally feel la.. the grandstand there could get you better shots.. cuz judging from my photographs and urs.. think can get more action..

      what settings u use huh?

i used 1/1000 shutter speed.. didnt dare try slower ones for better panning effects.. not confident.

couldnt set my iso too high either.. didnt like the way my pictures turn out.. i used iso200 only!
