    • Any notebook below 14.1 inch will not be in the price range of about $700.

Please wake up and top up more cash ...

$700 not enough to buy Dell or Acer Desktop also. biggrin.png

Asus, fujitus, Toshiba laptop are good but abit expensive. Dell or Acer are the cheapest already.

The $999 Laptop would be the mini note i was referring to above. I felt the quality @ TIong baru, challenger yesterday. The plastics used do not show any signs of inferiority + a hard thud was heard when knocked. the keys were nice to type, the screen was clear, the touchpad was responsive.

I agree with you. Best Denki offers the best service amongst the 3 major stalls: Harvey. Best, Courts.

If I were to rate, i would have rated Best and Harvey (1st and 2nd, or 2nd and 1st respectively). Service wise, Both are equally good.  Best's salesmen are rly quite knowlegable in what they sell. I once asked one of them what type of ram it uses, and i expected to get a reply of " i dunno ect" However i got a reply of, a ddr2 667mhz ram reply with lots of clear details. over the past 5 years, my house hold had made 3 major purchases there. Harvey's Sales men are equally good, they weight the pros and cons of each product ect. 2 major purchases from Harvey

Courts =_- no. Bad experiences one after another. One to note was the lousy attitude of the technicians. when they were fixing the vcd player which comes free with the tv, the vcd player had some problems turning on (switch button was loose), we asked the technician to bring it back. his reply was " free items like that one" =_-
